Collective Haul !~

Hello everyone!

As promised, I will show you my recent shopping findings today!
Each piece was a big bargain and mostly all things were on sale!

Hope you´ll like my haul!

First of all, I got this awesome biker jacket. I love the material mix and its fit. It was only 20€ from H&M in sale!

I also got this cute sweater at H&M in sale for only 15€! I love its soft material and the glittery peter-pan collar.

This peplum blouse shirt is my next favourite I got at H&M in sale! It was only 7€! I love the colours and its elegant fit.

Yesterday, I got this shirt at C&A for only 9€! I just love the colours. I think it´s perfect for summer, tucked into a skirt or shorts.

I also got this awesome platform sandals from H&M. They were on sale for only 10€! I love the colours, the cut-outs and the tassels.

I got this nail polish from "Rival de Loop". I love this salmon pink colour which is perfect for spring/summer. I had a 10% off coupon, so I only paid 1,40€ for it.

I also went to "Lush" to buy a new soap. I always love their soapes and especially this one. It´s a limited edition and it´s called "Angel´s Delight".
It smells really fruity and sweet!

At Tally Weijl, I got this awesome chunky ring for only 2€! It´s perfect to stack with other jewellry.

In a "1€-Shop", I got those knot earrings which I really like. That day, I combined it to a golden necklace I got from my grandma.

I also got those beautiful earrings in that shop. They are perfect for festive days like Christmas or New Year´s Eve!

I got those ones on a fleamarket for 1€! I love the unique style!

So, this was my last post for this year!
Hope you all enjoyed what I´ve done so far on my blog!
I´m looking forward for another year!

Have a great New Year´s Eve!

My Christmas 2012!~

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!

Hope you´re doing well and spend a lot of time with your family and friends these days!

We´re just finished our lunch for today and it was absolutely delicious!

We´ve ate fried duck, red cabbage with chestnuts and potatoes au gratin!
For dessert, we´ve had an almond cake, almond chocolate ice cream and raspberries!

Finally, I´ve took some photos to show you how we´ve decorated our Christmas tree and our dining table!

Like every year, we decorate our tree with funny and extraordinary stuff, but we also use old traditional ornaments.

Hope you´d enjoyed my Christmas impressions and I hope that you´ll have a great time and awesome holidays!

Let´s Bake Some Hazelnut/Walnut Muffins!

Hello everyone!

Hope you have a great pre-Christmas time!
I can´t believe that there are only 8 days left, until Christmas evening!

So, today, I will show you a quick and really yummy muffin recipe!
You can bake them as a little Christmas present for your family or friends or just to have something delicious to eat while you drink your coffee or tea in the afternoon!

Here are the few easy steps to get those delicious hazelnut/walnut muffins!

1. You have to preheat your oven to 200°C. In the meantime, you can prepare your muffin plate by putting the muffin moulds inside. You also have to make sure that you have all your ingredients nearby.

2. First, you have to whisk the 2 eggs until they are bubbly.

3. Next, you put in 6 table spoons of milk, 125g butter or margerine, 125g sugar and one sachet of vanilla sugar, then mix it all together.

4. Then, you have to put in 250g flour, 1/2 a sachet of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix all together, as well.

5. Let´s get started for the nuts! I take 1/2 a sachet of chopped hazelnuts and a handful of walnuts which I have to chop, as well. Then, mix all together until you have a smooth dough.

6. Take to table spoons and fill the dough into the prepared moulds.

7. Let the muffins bake for about 20-25 min. until they are golden brown. You can check if the muffins are ready by sticking a chopstick into it. If there´s no dough sticking on the chopstick, there are ready to take out of the oven. You have to let them cool down until you can finish your muffins by putting the topping on top.

8. I decided to sprinkle some icing sugar on top, but you can also melt some chocolate and apply it on top of you muffins.

And voilà! Here are your delicious muffins! Hope you´ll like them!

Hope you´d enjoyed this quick and easy muffin recipe!
I wish you a great Christmas time!

Christmas Time!

Hello everyone!

I can´t believe that the month of November only has some days left!
Time runs so fast!

Soon, it´s December which means Christmas time!

I´m really excited about this Christmas spirit which is everywhere in town!
By now, there´s a big Christmas tree at the middle of our market square and everywhere in town, the trees are covered with fairy lights! So beautiful!

This week, some Christmas markets started in my neighbourhood. They give every town some ease and comfort, but it also means that the town will be crowded with people who search for some presents for their beloved families.

On Saturday, I also will be in town to search for some Christmas presents and of course, I also will be dandering through the market.

Hope you all have a great time and I hope I can post more entries here soon!

Brand Watch: innisfree

Hello everyone!

I´m finally back with a little review on a innisfree nailpolish I got during my Korea trip in summer.

The innisfree shops can be compared to "The Body Shop" which we have here. All the products that they are selling, are on natural and organic bases.

So, also the nail polishes are all natural and without chemical essences.

I bought a petrol blue one, because the colour is such a unique and trendy one for fall.
Their nail polishes are really cheap as well, so I paid around 2€ for it!
Normally, nail polish smells really weird, but not that one. It got a pleasant fruity smell which I also really like!

P.S. Have a nice day and awesome Halloween!

Autumn Collective Haul and a Furniture Tip

Hello everyone!

I´m back with a little collective haul!
It´s autumn already! I love this season with all its beautiful colours!

Last weekend I went to Strasbourg to go shopping and I found some cool things. I also bought some stuff at ebay and got some vintage pieces, too!

Today, I went to a fleamarket. In a big box with a lot of jewellery, I found this nice chunky choker like necklace. I love the combination of gold and that beautful coral. I only paid 1€!

In France, I went to Zara and found this awesome coat! I love its fit and its elegant design. It was kind of expensive, I paid 130€, but it´s totally worth it.

I also went to Kiko which is an italian make-up brand. There, I found this awesome nude colour with a apricot touch. I paid 2.50€!

This nailpolish is really awesome! It´s a black colour with tiny lilac sprinkles in it. Absolutely awesome for autumn/winter for only 1€!

On ebay, I found this awesome chunky vintage belt from England! I got it for only 14€ including shipping. I had to bring it to a cobbler who made some more holes in it, so it fit me perfectly.

I also got two maxi skirts from an ebay shop in China. The black one was about 5€ and I got the red one for around 7€. They are slightly different as I wanted them to be, but after I washed and ironed them, they are good to go.

As furniture tip, I want to show you my new couch I got from Ikea. I love its simple but stylish design! I decorated it with some vintage pillows I got at a thrift store!

Hope you´ll all have a great weekend and a great beginning of next week!

Love, Julia.

Japan & South Korea 1 Month Trip!

Hello everyone!

As promised, I will show you some photos I took during my trip in August!

I visited Japan for almost 3 weeks and South Korea for 2 weeks.
It was the first time I flew and I was a bit nervous before the first take off.
But, my anxiety flew by as we reached the highest point.
We flew to Vienna, Austria first and then continued to Japan.
The flight was really calm but really long, almost 12 hours!

After 2 weeks in Japan, we drove by speed boat from Fukuoka to Busan, South Korea within 3 hours.

After that stay, we headed back to Tokyo by plane for a few more days in Japan before we started our journey home!

Here are some pictures to give you a little glimpse of what I saw!

We drove the Ferris Wheel by night which was awesome!
