Flair Fashion & Home Magazine - Review

Hello everyone!

Today, I will review one of my favourite magazines!

Beside "InStyle", the "flair" magazine is another one I read regulary.

"flair" combines the most interesting topics in one magazine: Fashion & Home.

In the following, I will go through the pages and show you the main parts of each issue and some of my favourite ones in this months edition.

The first topic is "Fashion". They show the latest fashion trends, news and little reports. I love that there is a variety of photoshoots, from a funky 60s shoot to a romantic theme to a classic simple design one.

The next big topic is "Home". The latest design and decor trends are shown, as well as apartments from designers like Elie Saab, architects or managers. Their homes give some great inspiration and show how you can decor your room in all the different ways with furniture or art of all decades.

The "Beauty" part shows what´s new in the make-up, fragrance or hair product world and there are also some nice reports or tips and tricks for a healthy lifestyle. 

The last topic is "Culture Club". They show the news of the film, music and designer scene. 

As in every magazine, there is also a horoscope. This one shows one special fashion, design or beauty piece which matches to your zodiac sign.

The last page refers to a special street in one metropole in the world and shows some nice cafes, museums or shops which are worth to go to.

Collective Haul!

Hi there!

After some outfit posts, I will show you my recent shopping findings I purchased during a couple of weeks !

I got this YSL lipstick a month ago and I used it quite often recently. I like its soft texture and its durability. The nude colour is perfect for light skin tones and the fruity flavor reminds me of spring/summer. I bought it in a cosmetic store where I got 5€ off, so I paid around 25€ for it.

I also went through the drugstore lipsticks and I found this sheer coverage lipstick from p2. The light rose colour ("060- Fame") gives your lips the perfect shine. I paid around 2€.

To keep my lips nice and smooth during the summer, I bought the classic Blistex lipcare.

I really like the fruity sugary taste of it. It was about 1.50€.

I ordered these nude platform booties from an online shop called "Schuhtempel24". The shoes are really high (~15cm), so they are quite a challenge to walk in at first, but gradually it´s getting better and better. They had only cost me 19€ including shipping which is ridiculous for the great manufacture. 

I bought this ethnic inspired earrings in a little shop for only 1.50€. The vibrant colours will be great for spring/summer and will match great to a light wavy maxi dress. They also remind me of the Dolce&Gabbana Spring-Summer 2013 Collection with its classic italian chic.

In the end, I bought this great white tshirt with the funny print on it. Recently, I saw a lot of shirts with high end brand logos on it, so I thought it would be nice to have one with the Chanel one it because I really like this brand. I only paid 10€ for it.

OOTD 11.05.13 - Keep it Nice and Casual!

I´m in the mood for OOTD´s recently, so here´s another one from today!

OOTD 09.05.13 - Flower Power goes Chic

Today´s topic is going to be the outfit that I wore out for today!

I kept it casual and kind of chic at the same time by combining a taupe coloured midi skirt to a colourfull flower blouse.

I added a pop of colour with my coral necklace and wedges.

Room Tour!

Hello again!

Today, I´m going to show you my room!

Recently, I rearranged it by buying some new furniture and decorating it another way with new things.

I really enjoy my new room, it´s really bright because of all the white!

Hope you also like it and maybe you can get some inspiration for your own room!

First, I bought a new dresser for my birthday. Like all of the new furniture, this commode is from "IKEA" and I got it for around 100€. 

It has a great hold capacity, so I could put all my purses in two drawers and use the remain one for my make-up case and other beauty items.

For decoration, I arranged modern and vintage pieces together.

 I really like the cristal bowl to put in my parfumes. I use the chinese wooden casket for all my jewelry.

Maybe I exchange the dark metal holders for glass ones.

  

I got this couch like half a year ago and it matches great to my new furniture.

I like its simple design and I emphasized it with three pastel coloured thrifted pillows.

I like the combination of the modern couch with the asian drawings, statues and chinese paper roll.

The newest purchase is this writing desk I also got from "IKEA". 

There is also this simple design which I really like.

I decorated it with this lovely mirror, I use to put on my make-up in the morning, and some fake flowers in a thrifted vase.

I also wanted to show you my book shelf. 

I keep there all of my fashion magazines, illustrated books, books and some asian figures.

The weather isn´t that great again and it´s raining the whole time, so you could definitely put on a leather jacket and thick black tights.
