Mission Umzug // Moving Houses

Hallo!

In den letzten zwei Wochen ist es still geworden hier auf meinem Blog - Grund: Ich ziehe um!

Vorbereitungen aller Art müssen dafür natürlich noch getroffen werden.Wohnungssuche, Organisation des Umzugs und Möbelkauf sind nur einige der Dinge, die rechtzeitig zu erledigen sind. Letzteres wurde gestern mit einem großen Einkaufszettel und mehreren Stunden Ikea-Aufenthalt erfolgreich in Angriff genommen. Der eigentliche Umzug ist so gut wie geplant.

Die Zeit dafür beschränkt sich derzeit auch nur auf die Wochenenden, da ich ja unter der Woche seit meiner Ausbildung noch ganztags im Verlag arbeite.

Dass sich dies ab Oktober ändern wird, habe ich ja weiter oben schon erwähnt. Der Grund für meinen Umzug ist gleichzeitig ein Start in einen neuen Lebensabschnitt - ich gehe studieren.

Ab nächsten Monat ist meinen neue Heimat also Tübingen, in der ich in den nächsten sechs Semestern alles über die Sprachwissenschaft und Rhetorik lernen werde.

Durch meinen Umzug könnt ich euch also auf Einblicke in mein neues Zuhause freuen, zudem müssen natürlich neue Restaurants und andere Freizeitaktivitäten getestet werden. Shopping kommt wohl auch nicht zu kurz, Hauls und andere moderelevanten Themen werdet ihr also weiterhin hier finden ;)

P.S In nicht mal zwei Wochen geht´s los! Instagram wird hierbei immer und überall dabei sein! Um nichts zu verpassen, "cosmic_confession" folgen!

Hello!

In the last two weeks, there wasn´t much happening on the blog - because I´m moving houses!

There is so much to do: Searching for an apartment, organizing the move and buying all the furniture. I dealed with the last thing on the list yesterday and a several hour visit at Ikea. The acutal move is virtually organized.

Time to manage all of that is rare because since my apprenticeship, I work fulltime in a publishing company.

But my daily routine will change from October on because I will study linguistics and rhetoric in Tübingen.

Because of my move to an other city, you can look forwards to new room and interior impressions and testing some new restaurants and other freetime activities. There also will be some shopping hauls and other fashion relevant topics further on.

How To Style: Sweater Weather

Hallo!

Auch wenn es gerade in dieser Sekunde, wenn ich aus dem Fenster schaue, nicht danach aussieht, dass der meteorologische Herbstanfang bereits begonnen hat, muss man sich wohl oder übel auf die doch nicht mehr so sonnigen und warmen Tage einstellen.

Um mich darauf schon einmal ein bisschen einzustimmen, habe ich ein Outfit rund um ein Kleidungsstück zusammengestellt, mit dem ich die kommende Herbst/Winter-Saison am meisten in Verbindung bringe - nämlich den Pullover.

Um ein wenig Farbe und Eleganz in den Look zu bringen, habe ich einen apricotfarbenen Lederrock und eine Clutch in der gleichen Farbe gewählt. Coole Schmuckstücke und die derben Cut-Out-Boots geben dem Look das gewisses Etwas.

As I´m sitting at my computer and looking out of the window, I can´t imagine that it´s the beginning of autumn, but I soon have to adjust to the upcoming season, I think.

To do that, I created an outfit around one item which is the statement piece in the autumn/winter season - a sweater.

To bring some elegance and colour to the look, I combined it with an apricot-coloured leather skirt and a clutch. Fancy jewelry and edgy boots give that little extra to the outfit.

OOTD - Swinging and Swinging

Hallo!

Im richtigen Moments abzudrücken erweist sich teilweise schwieriger als gedacht - gerade dann, wenn man sich in Endlosschleife dreht, kommen da doch in den meisten Fällen recht interessante Fotos dabei heraus. Bei diesem Outfit jedoch musste das einfach sein. Denn seien wir mal ehrlich, wer dreht sich nicht gerne in einem Walle-Walle-Rock!? 

Der taupefarbene Midi-Rock gesellt sich schon seit Jahren zu den verschiedensten Outfits und lässt sich einfach zu jeder Jahreszeit und jedem Stil kombinieren. Dieses Mal: Rockig-femininer Stilbruch im Sommer.

Das Print-Shirt aus der Männerabteilung steht hierbei in Kontrast zu dem femininen Plissee, der kleinen Vintage-Tasche und den Sandalen. Farblich alles abgestimmt, ergibt sich daraus ein lockerer und doch schicker Look, der perfekt für einen Shopping-Tag mit Freunden ist.

Taking photos at the one right moment isn´t that easy, especially when someone is spinning around and around. Most of the times, funny photos are the result. But let´s be honest, who doesn´t love to swing while wearing a longer skirt!?

The taupe-coloured one is one of my favourite item in my closet for several years now. You can combine it in many different styles and in every season. This time, I went for an edgy-feminine break in style on a summer day.

I wore a printed shirt from the men section in contrast to the feminine pleats, the little vintage bag and sandals, all colour matched. The result is a casual but chic look which is perfect for a day out with friends.

At the end, I luckily found one photo, so here´s my outfit!

Instagram Moments: What to taste in Berlin!

Hallo!

Heute widme ich mich an dieser Stelle ganz dem Thema "Essen und Trinken in Berlin". Da in den Straßen Berlins an jeder Ecke eine neue Köstlichkeit zu entdecken gibt und so gut wie jede Nationalität vertreten ist, kommt wirklich jeder auf den Geschmack - so wie ich mir das eigentlich auch gedacht habe!

Neben tollen Restaurants gibt es unzählige Cafés und Bars (Happy Hour teilweise ab 17 Uhr!?), sodass man sich problemlos rund um die Uhr verköstigen lassen könnte. Einige dieser Plätze zeige ich euch heute in den Instagram Moments!

Today I´m going to dedicate this post to the subject of "Drinking and Eating in Berlin". Because there are plenty of places with deliciousness from all over the world on every corner, everybody finds something he likes - just as I thought before my trip!

Beside the restaurants, there are just as many café and bars (Happy hour starts at 17 o´clock!?), so you can theoretically eat and drink all day long. Today, I´m going to share with you some of my favourite places in my Instagram Moments!

OOTD 07/08/2014 - Monochrome & Dots

Hallo!

Nach Outfit 1 folgt Outfit 2 aus Berlin! Kam der erste Look doch recht farbenfroh daher, zeigt dieser, dass auch die Kombi Schwarz/Weiß ein echter Hingucker sein kann und nicht im Schatten eines bunten Looks stehen muss.

Meine Liebe zu Print-Shirts, sowie Punkten wurde in diesem Outfit vereint und zu einem lässigen Look zusammengeführt, der perfekt für einen Stadtbummel oder einer Sightseeing-Runde durch Berlin geeignet ist. Da dies bedeutet, dass man viel zu Fuß unterwegs sein wird, habe ich meine neuen flachen Sandalen dazu kombiniert. 

Gewappnet mit Sonnenbrille, einer Tasche mit Trinkflaschen-Stauraum und dem luftigen und doch windsicheren Outfit ( nein, das ist kein Minirock ;) ) lässt es sich im sonnigen Berlin doch perfekt aushalten!

Outfit 2 follows Outfit 1 from Berlin! The first one was quite colourful, so it was time for a black/white combination which can be a nice eye-catcher, too.

I just love printed shirts and dots, so in this outfit, I combined both of my loves to one casual look which is perfect for a shopping trip or a sightseeingtour through Berlin. This activity means a lot of walking, so I wore my new flat sandals with this look.

Armed with some sunglasses, a big bag and the airy but windprooved outfit 

( no, that´s not a skirt ;) ), I explored the city of Berlin!

Berlin Haul!

Berlin ist DIE Modemetropole in Deutschland, das ist uns ja durch die alljährlichen Modewochen bereits bekannt. Paart sich dies jedoch noch mit den Sommer-Sales, dann ist eines klar: Wie bekomme ich meine geshoppten Stücke alle in dem viel zu kleinen Koffer verstaut?

OOTD 05/08/2014 - Pineapples All Over!

Hallo!

Wie im letzten Post angekündigt, kommt heute eines der zwei Outfits aus Berlin!

Der gelbe Rock von H&M ist eine neue Errungenschaft, die nur ein paar Tage vor Abreise zuerst in die Einkaufstüte und dann gleich in den Koffer wanderte. Mit 15€ war dieser ein riesen Schnäppchen, wenn man bedenkt, dass ein Großteil meiner T-Shirts farblich perfekt passen und dazu kombiniert werden können.

Die beste und unübertrefflichste Kombi ist jedoch wohl durch mein geliebtes Ananas-Shirt gegeben. Das T-Shirt nimmt dem Rock ein wenig Eleganz und lässt ihn so casual und edgy wirken. Ein weißes Biker-Jäckchen und schwarze Schuhe plus Tasche dazu und fertig ist das Berliner-Shopping-Outfit!

As I told you in my last post, here is one of my two outfits I wore during my stay in Berlin!

This yellow skirt from H&M is one of my newest shopping finds I bought just some days before heading off to Berlin. I only paid 15€ for it which is an awesome bargain if you think about all the shirts of mine which go perfectly with the skirt.

But the best combination you can achieve is with my pineapple t-shirt. The shirt tooks aways some elegance of the skirt and gives it more of an casual and edgy look. Add a white biker jacket and some black sandals and bag and voilà: ready for a shopping day in Berlin!
