OOTD 05/03/2015 - Pastel Edition

Hallo!

Das heutige Outfit sticht wohl als erstes durch seine Helligkeit hervor. In letzter Zeit dominierten nämlich eher dunkle Farben wie Schwarz und Grau meine Outfits. Doch da nun endlich der Frühling begonnen hat, bekomme auch ich Lust  darauf, hellere Farben zu tragen - Pastelltöne sind meine Favoriten derzeit.

Key-Piece des Outfits ist der wadenlange cremefarbene Flohmarktfund von Zara. Der lange mehrfarbige Schal und die bordeauxfarbige Tasche bringen abwechslungsreichen Kontrast hinzu. Ganz auf Schwarz konnte ich doch nicht verzichten und so trage ich schwarze Boots, einen Pullover und einen taillenhohen Rock.

Den Schmuck habe ich bis auf Ohrringe und Ringe dezent gehalten. Der nudefarbene Nagellack greift die Helligkeit und der Lippenstift die Farbe der Tasche wieder auf.

The bightness of todays outfit stands out the most, I think. Lately, my outfits were dominated by dark colours like black or grey. But, it´s officially spring, so I thought why not play with brighter colours? Pastel colours are my favourites right now.

Key piece of the outfit is the calf-long creme-coloured coat from Zara I found on a fleamarket. The long, multi-coloured scarf and the bordeaux red bag bring some diversified contrast to the look. I couldn´t completely forgo the colour black, so I wore black boots, a sweater and a high-waisted skirt.

I kept the jewelry with some rings and earrings quite simple. The nude nailpolish pick up the brightness and the dark lipstick the colour of the bag.

How To Style: Paris Fashion Week Streetstyle

Gestern ist die Paris Fashion Week gestartet! Bis zum 11. März zeigen die bekanntesten Designer und Modehäuser wie Chanel, Chloé, Balenciaga, Kenzo und viele viele mehr ihre Kreationen für die Herbst/ Winter 2015/16-Saison!

Auf den Straßen Paris tummeln sich zu dieser Zeit Modeexperten und Blogger aus der ganzen Welt und zeigen, was sie modetechnisch zu bieten haben. Tolle Streetstyle-Fotos sind da vorprogrammiert.

Von diesen eleganten, trotzdem verspielten, romantischen Looks mit dem gewissen französischen Chic habe ich mich inspirieren lassen und ein Outfit zusammengestellt, mit dem man der Hingucker unter den Fashionistas und beliebtes Objekt der Fotografen wäre.

Paris Fashion Week has started yesterday! Up to March 11th, the most famous Designers and brands like Chanel, Chloé, Balenciaga, Kenzo and a lot more show off their creations for the Autumn/Winter 2015/16 season!

On Paris streets, then there are fashion experts and bloggers from all over the world who dress in their most amazing outfits to show what they have to offer. Great streetstyle snapshots are preprogrammed.

I got inspired by these elegant, yet romantic looks with that special French chic, so I created an outfit with which you would be the eyecatcher among the fashionistas and admired object of the photographers.

OOTD 28/02/2015 - Monochromatic

Hallo!

Da nun langsam aber sicher hier und da die Sonne aus den Wolken blitzt, können die dicken Pullover weiter nach hinten in den Schrank rutschen und die Blusen und Hemden zum Vorschein kommen.

Für das heutige Outfit habe ich diese seidig-fließende Bluse von H&M zu schwarzen High-Waisted-Jeans von H&m kombiniert. Das Augenmerk liegt wohl auf dem Fake-Python-Leder-Boots von Deichmann. Diese verleihen dem Ganzen einen edgy Look.

Goldene Ringe, Dior-Lookalike-Perlenohrringe und eine Vintage-Tasche runden das Outfit ab. Auf den Lippen trage ich "Rouge Couture 200 Cherry Silk" von Astor.

It´s finally that time of the year when the sun comes out of the clouds and the weather gets warmer and warmer. The thick sweaters aren´t needed anymore and thinner blouses and shirts can be worn.

For todays outfit, I combined this monochrome silky blouse from H&M to black high-waisted jeans from H&M as well. The focus may be on the fake python leather boots from Deichmann. They give the whole outfit an edgy look.

Golden rings, Dior-lookalike-earrings and a vintage bag round out the outfit. On my lips I wear "Rouge Couture 200 Cherry Silk" from Astor.

Shopping at Strasbourg!

Hallo!

Eigentlich bin ich jemand, der sich während der Uni-Zeit gerne hier und da etwas kleines kauft, wenn er gerade dazu läuft, anstatt stundenlang in der Stadt zu verbringen und von Geschäft zu Geschäft zu eilen. Somit peile ich eher selten einen ganzen Tag für´s Shoppen an. 

Doch da ich ja nun meine Semesterferien in der Heimat verbringe, plane ich gerne kleine Trips. Gestern ging´s nach Strasbourg!

Heute zeige ich euch meine Shopping-Ausbeute und ein paar Eindrücke der französischen Stadt im Elsass!

1 Item 3 Outfits - The Shirt Dress

Hallo!

Nach dem Neustart meiner Serie "Outfit For Tomorrow" beginne ich nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit auch wieder die zweite, nämlich "1 Items 3 Outfits".

Die Aufgabe besteht darin, ein Key-Piece eines aktuellen Trends herauszusuchen und in drei Versionen zu stylen. Los geht es mit gleich zwei Trends in einem, dem Shirt-Kleid, einem Kleidungsstück, das diese Frühling/Sommer-Saison durch internationale Designer und Modezeitschriften wieder salonfähig gemacht wurde und dem altbekannten Material Denim.

Ich habe hierzu ein schlicht geschnittenes Kleid ohne auffällige Waschungen oder Dekor gewählt, um eine gute Basis zu schaffen, es in den Varianten "Alltag", "Ausgehen" und "Business" zu kombinieren!

After the relaunch of my series "Outfit For Tomorrow", I want to start my other one "1 Item 3 Outfits" after a really long break again!

The task is to take a key piece of a recent fashion trend and combine it in three different ways. I start with two trends in one, namely the shirt dress which has its big comeback after international designers showed them at their recent shows and all the magazines which wrote about them and the good old denim.

So, I combined a dress with a simple cut and without an extraordinary washing or any decor to provide a good basis to created the three looks for "everyday", "going out" and "business" out of it.

Outfit For Tomorrow - 13/02/2015

Hallo!

Zunächst vielleicht einmal ein kleines Uni-Update: Die Klausuren sind alle geschrieben und so neigt sich das Semester schon wieder dem Ende zu, das ging wirklich flott! 

Bis auf eine kleine Hausarbeit, habe ich nun zwei Monate unifrei, in denen ich, zurück in der Heimat, viel unternehmen, eventuell ein bisschen reisen und die Zeit genießen kann!

Aber nun zum eigentlichen Thema dieses Blogposts: Mein morgiges Outfit! Ich habe wieder einen Look zusammengestellt, der mich warm durch den Tag bringen soll, da das Wetter leider immer noch nicht umgeschlagen hat. 

Hier und da blitzt die Sonne hervor und Vögel zwitschern und das lässt erahnen, dass der Frühling womöglich bald schon vor der Tür stehen wird! ;)

At first, just a quick uni update: The exams are all wrote and the semester is over, that first one went really fast!

Except of a little paper I have to write, I have two months without any uni, so I will go home and enjoy my freetime!

But now, back to business: My outfit for tomorrow! I again created a look which should keep me warm because it´s still very cold.

Sometimes the sun shines through the clouds and there are some birds tweeting. That adumbrates that spring maybe is just around the corner! ;)

How To Style: Valentines Day

Hallo!

In weniger als einer Woche ist es wieder so weit: die Pärchen unter uns machen sich zu einem gemeinsamen Date auf, verbringen einen schönen Abend zu zweit und machen sich gegenseitig kleine Geschenkchen, denn dann ist der alljährliche Valentinstag!

Auch wenn dieser Tag für viele, auch für mich, muss ich gestehen, nur eine Erfindung der Konsumgesellschaft Amerika ist, das Beisammensein kann man gerne auch an einem anderen Tag feiern! ;)
