OOTD 05/04/2015 - Turning 21!

Hallo und Frohe Ostern!

Seit gestern bin nun auch ich 21 und somit "richtig" volljährig, egal wo ich mich auf der Welt befinde! Zu diesem Anlass darf ein "Oufit of the Day" natürlich nicht fehlen!

Das leichte, gerade geschnittene Kleid mit frühlingshaftem Print steht im Mittelpunkt des Looks. Somit habe ich die restlichen Teile wie die Vintage-Clutch und die spitzen Boots in schlichtem Schwarz gehalten.

Der goldenen Schmuck beschränkt sich auf schmale Creolen, Ringe und ein Armband. Den Lippenstift habe ich passend zum Kleid in einem kräftigen Pink gewählt.

Hello and Happy Easter!

I´m 21 now which means I´m finally full-aged doesn´t matter where on earth I am! For this occasion, an outfit of the day is a must, I think!

I wore a light, cut straight dress with a springlike print on it which should be the focus of the look. Because of that I chose the other pieces like the vintage clutch or the pointed boots to be in simple black.

The golden jewelry is limited to dainty loop earrings, some rings and a bracelet. I put on an intense coloured pink lipstick to match the print of the dress.

How to Style: Pretty in Pink!

Hallo!

"Pretty in Pink - Setze Akzente mit deiner neuen Lieblingsfarbe" -  Unter diesem Motto stand die dieswöchige "Shopping Queen"-Episode. 

Da ich Pink in Kombination mit Weiß oder anderen hellen Tönen sehr frisch und frühlingshaft finde und ich mich in dieser Saison auch mal an die etwas kräftigeren Farben heranwagen möchte, habe ich mich der Aufgabe gestellt und einen Look zum Thema kreiert.

Als pinkes Statement habe ich eine Stoff-Jacke im Bikerstil gewählt, dazu eine weiße 7/8-Jeans und ein gestreiftes Shirt mit Blusen-Schöschen. Um das Outfit casual zu halten, kombiniere ich dazu weiße Sneaker und eine kleine gemusterte Umhängetasche. 

Eine Sonnenbrille darf im Frühling nicht fehlen, also habe ich eine gewählt, die durch ihre Farbe nochmals einen pinken Akzent setzt. Den Schmuck halte ich dezent mit zarten Silverringen und Perlenohrringen.

In this weeks episode of the German TV-show "Shopping Queen", the candidates had to create an outfit in which pink is on focus.

Because I like the combination with pink and white or other bright tones in spring, I created an outfit around a pink statement piece. Maybe I will wear more bold colours this season?

I chose a fabric biker jacket as the focus and combined a 7/8 jeans and a striped shirt with a blouse peplum with it. To stay casual, I would wear some simple white sneakers and a little patterned crossbody-bag along with that look.

A pair of sunglasses is a must in spring, so I set a second focus with a pink one. I kept the jewelry quite simple with dainty silver rings and some pearl earrings.

How To Style: The 70s

Hallo!

In diesem Frühjahr/Sommer kommen die eingefleischten Modeliebhaber unter uns modetechnisch wohl kaum um ein Jahrzehnt herum - nämlich den 70ern.

In allen Modezeitschriften dieser Saison und auf den Laufstegen dieser Welt sah man Schlaghosen, Jeans mit ausgestelltem Bein, Wildleder, riesige 

Plateau-Sandalen und große Schlapphüte.

Klar, dass ich mich diesem Trend einmal angenommen und einen Look passend dazu mit 70er-Jahre typischen Kleidungsstücken und Accessoires zusammengestellt habe.

There´s one century which fashionistas should keep in mind for this years spring and summer trends - and that are the 70s!

In all fashion magazines and on all catwalks in the world, one could see flared legged jeans, suede, high plateau sandals and big floppy hats.

It´s for sure that I attend to this trend and style an outfit with typical 70s inspired clothes and accessories.

OOTD 28/03/2015 - Black meets Spring

Hallo!

Ich liebe Midi-Röcke im Frühling, wie sie so leicht und luftig um die Beine wehen! Für mein heutiges Outfit habe ich einen kombiniert, den ich bestimmt schon einige Jahre im Schrank habe und doch immer wieder heraushole.

Dadurch, dass er durch seine Farbe eher schlicht und zurückhaltend ist, setzte ich Kontraste mit der schwarzen Lederjacke, dem Print-Shirt und den Boots - ganz ungewohnt sind auch die Nägel schwarz.

Farblich passend zum Rock habe ich eine kleine Umhängetasche und den Lippenstift gewählt. Der Schmuck ist mit Perlenohrringen und zarten Ringen in Gold und Silber wie immer schlicht gehalten.

I just love midi skirt in spring when they´re so flowy and light! For todays look, I combined one which I have in my closet for years now and which I get out every year again.

Because of its plain colour, it´s really simple and casual, so I like to wear some darker accents with it. I chose a black leather jacket, a printed shirt and boots and - quite unusual for me - black nails.

To match the colour of the skirt, I went for a little cross-body bag and a lipstick in a lilac colour as well. The jewelry is simple with just some pearl earrings and some dainty silver and golden rings.

How To Style: Oversized

Hallo!

Oversize ist und bleibt einer DER Trends 2015. Ob casual oder schick, dieser Look geht einfach immer und überall. 

Gekonnt gestylt, können übergroßgeschnittene Kleidungsstücke gleich ein paar Problemzönchen wegschummeln und die Figur in Szene setzen. Dabei sollte immer darauf geachtet werden, dass nur eine Körperhälfte unbetont belassen wird, sprich: entweder oben weit und unten schmal oder anders herum.

Coole Accessoires werten wie auch bei anderen Trends das Outfit auf und geben ihm, je nachdem, edgy oder edle Akzente.

Da auch ich dem Trend gerade bei Jacken und Mänteln verfallen bin, habe ich einen Look zusammengestellt, der den Oversize-Fokus auf die obere Körperhälfte fokussiert. 

Gepaart mit einer lässigen Beutel-Tasche, silbernem Schmuck und Fedora à la Wilder Westen wird der Look zum Alltagsoutfit. Dazu kombinieren würde ich im Frühling schwarze Strumpfhosen oder schmale schwarze Jeans.

Oversize is one of THE trends of 2015. Weather casual or chic, this look is trendy and wearable anytime and anywhere.

Styled skillfully, one can conceal some kilos and show an awesome figure with those oversized shapes. You should always keep in mind to set the unaccented focus on one part of the body, so, either oversized upper part and accented legs or vice versa.

Cool accessories upgrade the look just like with any other trends and give, depending on how you like it, edgy or classy accents.

Just like many other fashionistas, I also have fallen for this trend, especially with jackets and coats, so I created a look with focus on an oversized upper part. 

Paired with a laid-back pouch bag, silver jewelry and a fedora à la Wild West, it becomes a great everyday-look. To complete the look for spring, I would wear some black tights or some black skinny jeans with it.
