Review: Ebay Asia Shops

Hallo!

Für mich als Schnäppchenjägerin ist Ebay natürlich DIE Plattform schlecht hin, um für die unterschiedlichsten Dinge zu bieten - oder sie eben direkt zu kaufen.

Die sogenannten "Shops" haben es mir da besonders angetan. Gerade die asiatischen Verkäufer bieten Unmengen an ausgefallener Kleidung, Schuhen, Taschen und Accessoires an, immer in Anlehnung an aktuelle Trends und Top-Designer.

Preislich sind die angebotenen Teile wahre Schnäppchen. So kostet ein Kleid oft nicht mehr als 10€, Shorts sind schon für unter 5€ zu haben. Das man für diese Preise keine außergewöhnlich hohe Qualität und hochwertige Stoffe erwarten kann, dürfte uns allen klar sein. Bisher hatte ich jedoch das Glück, dass alles meinen Erwartungen entsprach. 

Größentechnisch gibt es da eventuell jedoch schon das erste kleine Problemchen: Die Kleidungsstücke sind eher für zierliche, kleine Frauen geschnitten und so gibt es kaum Größen über S - bei Accessoires, Schuhen und Taschen gibt es diese Problematik natürlich nicht. Das zweite Manko dürfte wohl die sehr lange Lieferzeit sein, vier Wochen sind dort keine Seltenheit. Doch auch hier kann man bei dem oft kostenlosen Versand aus China oder Südkorea nichts anderes erwarten und muss somit etwas länger auf seine neuen Errungenschaften warten.

In den letzten paar Jahren habe ich dort trotz allem schon einige tolle Schnäppchen ergattern können und habe auch letztens wieder zugeschlagen ;)

For me as a bargain hunter, Ebay is the best website to stroll through and bid for something nice and extraordinary - or search for awesome deals.

The "Ebay Shops" are the best way to do so. There are a lot of Asian sellers who offer tons of clothes, shoes, bags and accessories, always inspired by recent trends or high-end designers.

In terms of prices on the one hand, the pieces are absolute bargains. There are dresses which don´t cost more than €10 or shorts which you can get under €5. Because of the low price, you can´t be sure that the fabrics are outstanding quality - but by now, the luck was on my side to buy pieces which fulfil my expectations.

In terms of sizes on the other hand, there may be the first little problem: The clothes are tailored for small women, so there is nearly a shop that sells clothes in size M or up. The second thing is that the delivery takes a long time, so you often get your order after four weeks. The shops are shipping from China or Southkorea for free, so I think it´s clear that it takes a while.

In the last few years, I got some nice pieces in these shops and I also found some things there the last time I checked the sites ;)

Beauty Haul & Review!

Ein neues Parfum und ein (deckender) weißer Nagellack standen schon lange auf meiner Kauf-mich-Liste und fanden nun auch endlich Einzug in meine vier Wände.

Doch die Suche nach diesen Dingen gestaltete sich schwieriger als gedacht, gibt es doch so viele verschiedene und ständig neue Düfte, die in den Regalen der Parfümerien darauf warten, ausprobiert und gekauft zu werden und weiße Nagellacke, die nur im ersten Moment wirklich weiß sind.

A new perfume and a (covering) white nailpolish were some of my beauty essentials for the new season - and I finally got to buy those!

 The search for it was much more difficult that I imagined because, for the fragrance part, there are a bunch of perfumes on the market and there are coming more and more waiting for us to try and buy them. For the nailpolish part I can say: Never trust the colour in the bottle, just the one on your nails.

Bei meinem letzten Besuch in der Parfümerie meines Vertrauens, roch ich wieder an den verschiedensten Düften, besprühte mich so lange mit den wohlduftenden Wässerchen, bis keine Stelle meiner Arme mehr parfümfrei war und entschied mich schließlich für eins: See by Chloé.

Dieses Parfüm duftet für mich einfach nach Frühling. Die Ingredienzien sprechen für sich: Bergamotte, Apfelblüte, Jasmin, Vanille, Sandelholz... Man fühlt sich fast, als würde man unter einem blühenden Apfelbaum in Mitten verschiedenster Blumen liegen.

Als Eau de Parfum hält es was es verspricht: Es duftet den ganzen Tag!

See by Chloé gehört eher zu den mittelpreisigen Parfums, deshalb habe ich mit 40€ für 30ml (dank der Glamour Shopping Card habe ich ca. 5€ gespart!) ein richtiges Schnäppchen ergattert!

Last time I went to the perfumery, I went through a lot of different perfumes, sprayed some of them on my arms, so there barely weren´t perfume free places left and finally decided to buy one: See by Chloé.

This scent smells of spring. The ingredients speak for themselves: bergamot, apple blossom, jasmin, vanilla, sandal-wood... It´s just like you sit under an apple tree in the middle of various flowers.

And it does everything it promises as an eau de parfum: the scent lasts the whole day!

See by Chloé can be found in the mid-price-range, so I got the 30ml bottle for about 40€ (I got 5€ off because of an coupon) which is quite a great deal!

Eigentlich habe ich alle erdenklichen Nagellack-Farben und habe für keinen mehr als 3€ ausgegeben. Ein Weißer fehlte jedoch noch und konnte auch bisher nicht bei den typischen Drogeriemarken ausfindig gemacht werden, da musste ich schon eine Preiskategorie höher treten  - und landete bei Essie. 

Hier fand ich den wohl einzigen wirklich weißen Deckweiß-Nagellack, der nicht nur wundervoll zu allen Frühlingsoutfits passt, sondern auch mit einer Haltbarkeit von fast einer Woche ohne zu Bröckeln auf den Nägeln bleibt. Um diese Qualität zu bekommen, bezahlte ich um die 8€.

I actually own a lot of different nailpolish colours and I never spend more than 3€ on one of them. However, a white one was missing in my collection because I never found one among the typical drug store ones, so I had to spend a little more - and went to Essie.

On that counter, I found a covering white one which looks awesome to all of my spring outfits and lasts for a week on the nails without crumbeling. I paid around 8€.

New in: Mango Outlet

Die Suche nach schwarzen Plateau-Sandalen hat sich schwerer erwiesen, als manch einer denken könnte - denn auch letztes Jahr blieb ein Kauf aus.

Nach erneutem Stöbern in den unzähligen Online-Shops, bin ich auch auf mangooutlet.com gestoßen. Die Sonderseite von mango.com verkauft Kleidung, Accessoires und Schuhe aus vergangenen Kollektion zu phänomenalen Preisen.

Und siehe da, diese Leder-Sandalen sprangen mit sofort ins Auge. Die Schuhe sind aus der Mango Touch Reihe und waren von 70€ auf 40€ reduziert. Dank eines Rabatt-Codes wurden mir nochmals 10% gutgeschrieben und sie landeten schlussendlich für 35€ in meinem Einkaufskorb. Nach 4 Tagen kam das Päckchen an. 

Mein Fazit:

Die Sandalen passen wie angegossen, sind qualitativ hochwertig verarbeitet und super bequem trotz hohen Absatzes.

In Zukunft lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall, öfters auf der Outlet-Seite nach Schnäppchen Ausschau zu halten!

I was searching quite a long time for simple black plateau sandals, but unforunately I couldn´t find some last summer.

Last week, I rummaged around the online shops and I finally found those awesome shoes on mangooutlet.com. This website sells Mango clothes, accessories and shoes from past collections for very special prices.

Those leather sandals were reduced from €70 to €40 and I also got 10% off because of a discount code, so I got them for €35.

My conclusion:

Those shoes fit perfectly, are high-quality and are super comfortable to walk in.

For the future, it is totally worth searching for great bargains on Mango Outlet!

Review: Balea Aqua Augenpflege

Hallo!

Gerade in der kalten Jahreszeit wird die Haut um die Augen besonders durch die trockene Heizungsluft strapaziert. Die Augenpartie wird nicht mit genügend Feuchtigkeit versorgt und es können sich Trockenheitsfältchen bilden.

Das Balea Aqua Augen Crème-Gel soll Abhilfe schaffen. Das habe ich getestet! 

Die Balea Augenpflege ist parfümfrei und riecht sehr frisch, fast neutral, was ich gleich zu Beginn schon sehr angenehm finde. Die ölfreie Crème zieht nach dem Auftragen schnell ein und spendet langanhaltend Feuchtigkeit ohne zu fetten. Das Trockenheitsgefühl in der Hautpartie verschwindet und die Augen werden entspannt. 

Die Crème ist mit knapp 2€ außerdem ein richtiges Schnäppchen und für junge Haut vollstens zu empfehlen!

To nourish the delicate eye area in the autumn/winter season and prevent getting wrinkles because of dryness, I started to test an eye cream by "Balea".

The "Balea Aqua Eye Cream Gel" is unscented and smells really fresh, almost neutral, the first thing I like about this product. The oil-free mixtur absorbs quickly and doesn´t leave a sticky feeling. The cream moisturizes the skin intensively and durably and the dry feeling around the eyes disapears. 

This eye cream is a real bargain because you can get it in German drugstores for only €2!

In this issue, one particular editorial caught my eye. It´s a homage to Grace Coddington, creative director of the US-Vogue. I really like the photos, especially because of the warm atmosphere which is perfect for autumn!

Flair Fashion & Home Magazine - Review

Hello everyone!

Today, I will review one of my favourite magazines!

Beside "InStyle", the "flair" magazine is another one I read regulary.

"flair" combines the most interesting topics in one magazine: Fashion & Home.

In the following, I will go through the pages and show you the main parts of each issue and some of my favourite ones in this months edition.

The first topic is "Fashion". They show the latest fashion trends, news and little reports. I love that there is a variety of photoshoots, from a funky 60s shoot to a romantic theme to a classic simple design one.

The next big topic is "Home". The latest design and decor trends are shown, as well as apartments from designers like Elie Saab, architects or managers. Their homes give some great inspiration and show how you can decor your room in all the different ways with furniture or art of all decades.

The "Beauty" part shows what´s new in the make-up, fragrance or hair product world and there are also some nice reports or tips and tricks for a healthy lifestyle. 

The last topic is "Culture Club". They show the news of the film, music and designer scene. 

As in every magazine, there is also a horoscope. This one shows one special fashion, design or beauty piece which matches to your zodiac sign.

The last page refers to a special street in one metropole in the world and shows some nice cafes, museums or shops which are worth to go to.

Brand Watch: innisfree

Hello everyone!

I´m finally back with a little review on a innisfree nailpolish I got during my Korea trip in summer.

The innisfree shops can be compared to "The Body Shop" which we have here. All the products that they are selling, are on natural and organic bases.

So, also the nail polishes are all natural and without chemical essences.

I bought a petrol blue one, because the colour is such a unique and trendy one for fall.

Their nail polishes are really cheap as well, so I paid around 2€ for it!

Normally, nail polish smells really weird, but not that one. It got a pleasant fruity smell which I also really like!

Book Review: "Vintage Fashion - Collecting and Wearing Designer Classics 1900-1990"

 Hello everyone!

Recently, I´m really busy with learning for my "A levels"! I´m so excited because they will start in only a month! I hope evrything will be fine!

Today, I have a little book review for you! I actually also wanted to show you another book and a DVD but I havn´t received them yet. I ordered them on the internet and there are some delivery problems.

The book I´m going present is about the fashion and the styles from the past century, from 1900 to 1990.

The pictures and the illustrations show typical shapes, colours, fabrics or pattern from each decade. The annexed texts explain each chapter very detailed and articulately.

 I took some pictures from the interior to show you some details!

The last thing I´m going to show you is this awesome nailpolish! I bought it from the new Catrice collection and it´s called "Genious In The Bottle". It´s a mixture between gold, green and blue and this changing colour reminds me a lot of the Chanel "531 Peridot" from their latest make-up collection! This one is much cheaper (around 3€) and looks exactly like the Chanel one, I think!
