How To Style: Oversized

Hallo!

Oversize ist und bleibt einer DER Trends 2015. Ob casual oder schick, dieser Look geht einfach immer und überall. 

Gekonnt gestylt, können übergroßgeschnittene Kleidungsstücke gleich ein paar Problemzönchen wegschummeln und die Figur in Szene setzen. Dabei sollte immer darauf geachtet werden, dass nur eine Körperhälfte unbetont belassen wird, sprich: entweder oben weit und unten schmal oder anders herum.

Coole Accessoires werten wie auch bei anderen Trends das Outfit auf und geben ihm, je nachdem, edgy oder edle Akzente.

Da auch ich dem Trend gerade bei Jacken und Mänteln verfallen bin, habe ich einen Look zusammengestellt, der den Oversize-Fokus auf die obere Körperhälfte fokussiert. 

Gepaart mit einer lässigen Beutel-Tasche, silbernem Schmuck und Fedora à la Wilder Westen wird der Look zum Alltagsoutfit. Dazu kombinieren würde ich im Frühling schwarze Strumpfhosen oder schmale schwarze Jeans.

Styled skillfully, one can conceal some kilos and show an awesome figure with those oversized shapes. You should always keep in mind to set the unaccented focus on one part of the body, so, either oversized upper part and accented legs or vice versa.

Cool accessories upgrade the look just like with any other trends and give, depending on how you like it, edgy or classy accents.

Just like many other fashionistas, I also have fallen for this trend, especially with jackets and coats, so I created a look with focus on an oversized upper part. 

Paired with a laid-back pouch bag, silver jewelry and a fedora à la Wild West, it becomes a great everyday-look. To complete the look for spring, I would wear some black tights or some black skinny jeans with it.

OOTD 19/03/2015 - Muted Casual

Hallo!

Passend zum astrologischen Frühlingsanfang zeige ich euch heute ein frühlingshaftes Casual-Outfit in gedeckten Farben! Da die Temperaturen jetzt allmählich nach oben klettern und gestern einen ersten, sonnigen Höhepunkt erreicht haben, konnte ich endlich meinen beigen, fließenden Trench-Coat aus dem Schrank holen.

Kombiniert habe ich ihn im Layering-Look zu einem gestreiften Midi-Kleid und, da es ohne vielleicht doch noch ein wenig zu frisch gewesen wäre, mit einem schwarzen, leichten Jäckchen.

Schwarze Boots machen den Look cool und lässig und mit nackten Beinen passen diese auch noch gut in den Frühling. Eine schwarze Crossbody-Bag und zarter Goldschmuck runden das Outfit ab.

Apposite to the astrological beginning of spring today, I show you a new springlike casual outfit in muted colours. 

Because of the rising temperature and the sunny warm day yesterday, I finally could wear my nude flowing duster trench coat.

I combined it to a striped midi dress and a light black jacket to get a layered look. Black boots make it more edgy and with bare legs, they´re still wearable in spring. A crossbody-bag and dainty golden jewelry round off the outfit.

How To Style: Sweatpants For A Night Out

Hallo!

Passend zur heutigen "Promi Shopping Queen" Sendung habe ich ein Outfit rund um das Thema "Kreiere einen Look um das It-Piece Jogginghose!" zusammengestellt.

Da ich diese lässigen Hosen im Alltag eher nicht sehe, habe ich mich für einen Ausgeh-Look entschieden, bei dem es ruhig mal ein bisschen mehr sein kann.

Das Outfit habe ich klassisch Schwarz/Weiß/Grau gehalten. Außergewöhnliche Akzente habe ich mit der gemusterten Jacke und den Schuhen und der felligen Clutch gesetzt. Schlicht ist wieder der Schmuck.

Todays episode of the celebrity version of the show I introduced you in my last post is about sweatpants and different ways to style them.

Because I don´t really like those on an everyday basis, I created a night-out look in which more can be more.

The look is classy with the black, white and grey colours but extraordinary because of the patterned jacket and shoes and the fluffy clutch. I kept the jewelry quite simple in silver.

How To Style: Leather in Spring

Hallo!

Heute startet wieder eine neue Woche und somit auch eine neue Woche mit "Shopping Queen". Das Thema diese Mal: Finde das perfekte Outfit zu einem Lederteil deiner Wahl!

Diese Aufgabe habe ich mir nun auch einmal gestellt und einen Look zusammengestellt. Ich habe mich von den frühlingshaften Temperaturen inspirieren lassen und zu klassischem schwarzen Leder senfgelbe Akzente

 im Ethno-Stil gesetzt.

Das zum Turban gebundene Tuch, der extravagante Schmuck und die hohen Plateau-Sandalen machen den Look zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk, das man so auch als Streetstyle-Profi zu den Modeschauen tragen könnte.

Today is the beginning of a new week which means, it´s time for another episode of the German TV show "Shopping Queen". Each day of the week another candidate has to shop a whole outfit within 4 hours. This weeks topic: Find the perfect outfit to a leather piece of your choice!

So, I also tried to perform the task by putting an outfit together. I got inspired by the springlike temperature and combined warm yellow coloured pieces in ethnic style to a classy black leather top.

For accessories, I chose a turban made out of a scarf and extraordinary jewelry. In combination with high platform sandals, the look becomes an art piece, so streetstyle experts could also rock this outfit during fashion week.

OOTD 05/03/2015 - Pastel Edition

Hallo!

Das heutige Outfit sticht wohl als erstes durch seine Helligkeit hervor. In letzter Zeit dominierten nämlich eher dunkle Farben wie Schwarz und Grau meine Outfits. Doch da nun endlich der Frühling begonnen hat, bekomme auch ich Lust  darauf, hellere Farben zu tragen - Pastelltöne sind meine Favoriten derzeit.

Key-Piece des Outfits ist der wadenlange cremefarbene Flohmarktfund von Zara. Der lange mehrfarbige Schal und die bordeauxfarbige Tasche bringen abwechslungsreichen Kontrast hinzu. Ganz auf Schwarz konnte ich doch nicht verzichten und so trage ich schwarze Boots, einen Pullover und einen taillenhohen Rock.

Den Schmuck habe ich bis auf Ohrringe und Ringe dezent gehalten. Der nudefarbene Nagellack greift die Helligkeit und der Lippenstift die Farbe der Tasche wieder auf.

The bightness of todays outfit stands out the most, I think. Lately, my outfits were dominated by dark colours like black or grey. But, it´s officially spring, so I thought why not play with brighter colours? Pastel colours are my favourites right now.

Key piece of the outfit is the calf-long creme-coloured coat from Zara I found on a fleamarket. The long, multi-coloured scarf and the bordeaux red bag bring some diversified contrast to the look. I couldn´t completely forgo the colour black, so I wore black boots, a sweater and a high-waisted skirt.

I kept the jewelry with some rings and earrings quite simple. The nude nailpolish pick up the brightness and the dark lipstick the colour of the bag.

How To Style: Paris Fashion Week Streetstyle

Gestern ist die Paris Fashion Week gestartet! Bis zum 11. März zeigen die bekanntesten Designer und Modehäuser wie Chanel, Chloé, Balenciaga, Kenzo und viele viele mehr ihre Kreationen für die Herbst/ Winter 2015/16-Saison!

Auf den Straßen Paris tummeln sich zu dieser Zeit Modeexperten und Blogger aus der ganzen Welt und zeigen, was sie modetechnisch zu bieten haben. Tolle Streetstyle-Fotos sind da vorprogrammiert.

Von diesen eleganten, trotzdem verspielten, romantischen Looks mit dem gewissen französischen Chic habe ich mich inspirieren lassen und ein Outfit zusammengestellt, mit dem man der Hingucker unter den Fashionistas und beliebtes Objekt der Fotografen wäre.

OOTD 28/02/2015 - Monochromatic

Hallo!

Da nun langsam aber sicher hier und da die Sonne aus den Wolken blitzt, können die dicken Pullover weiter nach hinten in den Schrank rutschen und die Blusen und Hemden zum Vorschein kommen.

Für das heutige Outfit habe ich diese seidig-fließende Bluse von H&M zu schwarzen High-Waisted-Jeans von H&m kombiniert. Das Augenmerk liegt wohl auf dem Fake-Python-Leder-Boots von Deichmann. Diese verleihen dem Ganzen einen edgy Look.

Goldene Ringe, Dior-Lookalike-Perlenohrringe und eine Vintage-Tasche runden das Outfit ab. Auf den Lippen trage ich "Rouge Couture 200 Cherry Silk" von Astor.

It´s finally that time of the year when the sun comes out of the clouds and the weather gets warmer and warmer. The thick sweaters aren´t needed anymore and thinner blouses and shirts can be worn.

For todays outfit, I combined this monochrome silky blouse from H&M to black high-waisted jeans from H&M as well. The focus may be on the fake python leather boots from Deichmann. They give the whole outfit an edgy look.

Golden rings, Dior-lookalike-earrings and a vintage bag round out the outfit. On my lips I wear "Rouge Couture 200 Cherry Silk" from Astor.
